Leading the way is Dave Weidmayer, CFP® professional and founder, whose Midwestern roots, decades of industry experience, and deep commitment to client care shape every aspect of our firm’s approach. From navigating life’s transitions to preparing for the future, Dave brings practical insight, personal compassion, and a steady hand to help clients move forward with clarity and confidence.

I grew up in the Midwest on a farm, which instilled in me a strong work ethic and family values. I learned about money and finance at a very young age as the son of a CPA. With more than 30 years of market experience, I am dedicated to helping individuals, families, and business owners meet their financial needs by developing investment plans around their long-term goals and risk tolerance. I deeply understand the importance of planning and I am passionate about collaborating with my clients’ tax and estate planning professionals to help ensure their financial plans are cohesive and coordinated.

My extensive experience—throughout major shifts in the markets—enables me to help my clients structure portfolios to address their specific financial goals. In addition, because my wife, Kendra, and I cared for her parents in their final years, I experienced the caregiving process firsthand and understand what it takes financially and emotionally to plan for this time.

I began my financial services career as a financial consultant with Merrill Lynch. Now I have my own firm, Weidmayer Wealth Solutions. I earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and attended the Executive Education Leadership Training Course at the Wharton School of Business in 2005. I hold FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses, as well as life, health, and long-term care insurance licenses. I completed my CFP® certification in 2012. Today, I specialize in tactical and strategic asset and liability management.

My wife, Kendra, and I enjoy sports, culinary functions, and the arts. We both grew up in rural communities and enjoy supporting 4H and various charities.
